At the heart of Glenn Lewis Design lies a story of innovation, passion, and cultural heritage. Founded by Glenn Lewis, a former professor of industrial design, the company reflects his pioneering work in computer-aided design, jewelry, fine art prints, and digital sculpting.
After teaching at universities across the U.S. and West Africa, his journey led to a transformative encounter with Ghana's Adinkra symbols of the Akan people. This inspired him to create a digital Adinkra font, which he shared with educational institutions throughout Ghana.
In 2009, Glenn received the prestigious commission through Aid to Artisans Ghana to design the gold medallion commemorating the 10th anniversary of Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II's enstoolment. This experience led to founding Innokofa, Ltd., a jewelry company celebrating Adinkra symbols.
His artistic vision has expanded to include bronze sculpture, textiles, and fine art prints, with one print earning recognition in the Royal Academy of Art Summer Exhibition 2022. As a master of Digital jewelry design software and an early adopter of 3D printing, Glenn's true passion emerges in bespoke jewelry design, where each piece tells a unique story blending cultural heritage with contemporary artistry.
